Papercut is looking for a highly effective Application Developer to join our team. This person will participate in the overall strategy, standardization, analysis, development, and implementation of online and mobile applications.

Individual will develop and communicate the detailed technology architecture and implementation strategy for a solution to the client and project team.

Position Requirements:

The Application Architect will be expected to:

• Lead large-scale business application development efforts
• Independently interact at the director-level in client organizations
• Demonstrate expertise with a broad set of development tools/technologies
• Have a firm understanding of development methods and architectures
• Assist the Project Manager in establishing team goals, objectives, and budget
• Provide support to the sales effort on new business development pursuits

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years in application development / enterprise architecture, systems integration and development, package implementation, relational databases, with knowledge of multiple technologies and interactive design
• Expertise in multiple technology platforms/languages: PHP, Ruby on Rails, Java, EXT, jQuery, XML, SOAP
• Packaged e-commerce, web content management, or PPM software experience desired
• Ability to define, create, and complete a technical task without guidance
• Experience in full lifecycle software development processes and methods
• Ability to articulate a vision of the total solution
