Are You Going To Make a Mark with Me?Just for Fun
As I discussed on the blog earlier this year, Make a Mark is officially coming to Chattanooga on September 23. These means a 12-hour make-a-thon of productivity and creativity benefiting local nonprofit organizations and humanitarian causes.
I'm really excited to use my skills to benefit our community and wanted to give a quick update on next steps, in case you haven't gotten your application in yet.
If you need some background, find out all the details of what to expect as maker in this post by Sarah Obenauer, founder and director of Make a Mark.
Maker applications will be open through the end of this month on Make a Mark's website. So, if you're a designer, developer, illustrator, animator, photographer, videographer or copywriter, there's a week left to sign up!
Event organizers are in the process of interviewing nonprofits to narrow them down based on mission, impact and the project they're proposing. After the maker applications are in, final decisions on the nonprofits and creative professionals who will participate will be determined by the skillsets needed for each project.
I can't wait to see some awesome work for good and hope to see you there!
