At Papercut, we love helping local business owners harness the power of digital marketing to grow their companies. As part of this commitment, I’ll be discussing the basics of Google AdWords with small businesses on Tuesday, July 12th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm for The Chattery, a nonprofit that offers classes and training sessions for Chattanooga residents. This will be an informative talk about how businesses can start using AdWords as a part of an overall marketing plan.
What Is AdWords?
Google AdWords is a robust marketing tool that offers one of the lowest monetary investments for small businesses. It is a very affordable way to get out in front of your target audience and to get qualified leads. While the main goal of AdWords is to get leads, it offers other benefits. AdWords allows you to refine your marketing message by split testing your ad copy, seeing what messaging is resonating and what is not.
What Will Be Covered?
Even with all of these benefits, AdWords is something that many businesses have a bad feeling about. We’ve heard countless stories about how a business got a promotional offer in the mail to start up an account, only to spend over $1,000 with no results to show for it. One of the things that I’ll will be addressing in my talk is how to properly approach AdWords and what expectations and goals you should have starting off. I’ll also be going over how to properly set up a new AdWords account, how you should approach your ad budget, and the importance of keywords.
This class will be a great learning opportunity and will give you the ability to pick the brain of an AdWords Certified Google Partner. If you would like to learn more about AdWords and see how you can start using it with your marketing plan, sign up for the class on The Chattery’s website today!
