Papercut Is Growing!Just for Fun
Papercut Interactive has added two new employees! Crystal Henry and Amanda Haskew are our newest superfriendly superfriends, and they are working hard for our clients every day.
Crystal Henry joined the Papercut team as a Front-end/Back-end Developer in May. A native of Ringgold, Georgia, she moved to Chattanooga after graduating college. Crystal has an MBA in Information Technology and Internet Security from American InterContinental University, and she definitely knows her stuff.
Her love affair with the web began in college while she was working as a Media Design Director for WTSmedia. She was asked to design and build the company website, and the rest, as they say, is history.
A self-described “die-hard multi-tasker,” Crystal does almost anything on any given day. Whether it’s working on front-end markup for a website project, implementing back-end coding, or helping Jenny and Jamie Ann improve internal processes, she has the skills, know-how, and drive to make things happen.
When she’s not working hard at her job, Crystal enjoys taking advantage of all the outdoor activities Chattanooga has to offer. She loves road cycling, cyclocross, mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, trail running, and backpacking. If she’s not outdoors, you can find her working on her latest knitting project and enjoying a cup of chai tea or coffee.
Crystal is excited to be working with her “amazingly talented, down-to-earth colleagues” at Papercut.
Amanda Haskew joined Papercut as its SEO Director in August. She was born and raised in Chattanooga and spent a few years in Greenville, South Carolina, where she studied history and Spanish at Furman University.
After graduating from college, Amanda worked for a content marketing agency in Greenville and produced search-engine friendly copy for several clients, including Carlson Hotels and AOL. She soon began managing projects and supervising teams of writers, editors, and contract workers. The frequent drives between Greenville and Chattanooga got to be too much, so she moved back home and worked as an SEO and content editor for a local digital marketing agency before joining Papercut.
At Papercut, Amanda produces optimized copy for client websites and monitors them for errors that affect their search engine rankings. On any given day, you can find her conducting keyword research, working with developers to correct crawl errors, looking at data in Google Analytics, and even writing for the Papercut blog or picking up an extra editing project. She’s excited to be here and to get to work with such smart, funny, and talented people.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys reading, watching her favorite TV shows, walking her dogs, Oliver and Gus, and knitting, although she’s nowhere near as good at it as Crystal is.
