Papercut Is Growing… Again!Just for Fun
We’ve been busy bees at Papercut lately. So busy, in fact, that we’ve added another member to our team! Jeremy Hixon joined Papercut in March, and he’s working hard as a front end web developer to make sure our clients’ sites look the best they possibly can.
A native of Chickamauga, Georgia, Jeremy grew up around the Chattanooga area. He initially wanted to be a designer, so he taught himself with a copy of Photoshop and a Wacom Tablet, then began designing and building his own websites. After a friend of his gave him server access and helped him learn ColdFusion (Macromedia’s server-side programming language), he discovered that he was much better at programming than design. That’s when he officially switched his focus to front end development.
Jeremy still loves design, and it always informs his programming work. He’s interested in delivering websites with an exceptional user experience and in creating a more functional, efficient web. In his own words, “I suppose it’s safe to say that I’m somewhat passionate about building sites that are useful, to the point, and efficient. No design for design’s sake.”
When he’s not busy building the best websites around, you can find Jeremy reading or playing Xbox. He also likes to code personal projects in his spare time.
He says a typical day at Papercut is full of coding and laughter, and we like it that way. Welcome to the team, Jeremy. We’re glad to have you on board!
