Merry Christmas! Each year, Papercut gets into the holiday spirit by donating to a local charity. This year, we chose to support Metropolitan Ministries as part of Giving Tuesday and ChaGives.
What Are Giving Tuesday and ChaGives?
Held on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday is a global celebration of generosity. Families, organizations, and companies from around the world are encouraged to give to the charity of their choice.
For Giving Tuesday this year, the United Way of Greater Chattanooga and Causeway teamed up to create ChaGives to encourage giving locally.
What Is Metropolitan Ministries?
Metropolitan Ministries seeks to prevent homelessness in the Chattanooga area by providing residents with assistance for basic necessities, including rent, utility bills, groceries, and prescription medications.
