Learn a New Language – Code!

Finding superfriendly people who know how to code and love the web is one of the biggest challenges Papercut faces. There simply aren’t very many people who fit the bill.

To work here, you have to be kind and approachable, get excited about building websites that work on mobile devices now and in the future, and be really good at what you do. All of that adds up to a superfriendly experience for our clients — and their clients.

It’s hard to find a great university-level coding program, and it’s nearly impossible to get a good coding foundation in America’s high schools and middle schools. Most of the Papercut Interactive team actually taught themselves the fundamentals of code and building websites long before they cracked a textbook on the subject.

We’re not the only ones who noticed just how few awesome people speak code. The people at CodeOrg created a video summing up the challenge. It features some IT rockstars (and a real rock star). Check it out.

It comes down to this: millions of jobs are waiting on folks who know how to code! If you’re a superfriendly person, learn this stuff and then call Papercut!
